This includes a right to formal recognition of our group identities. We have control over our lives and future including our economic, social and cultural development. It can mean many things: freedom from political and economic domination by others; self-government and the freedom to make decisions about family, community, culture and country.Other members, such as Taiwan and Somaliland, have already achieved a high-level or full self-determination, but are yet to be recognized as independent states by the international community.
