The update nobody asked for: Like expected, I completed the month at only 94% completion and thus lost my top dasher status. I was pissed. I told myself I would take smart orders for three weeks and then tough it out the last week to get my numbers back up. However, I just completed my first week as a regular dasher.

It is your market that sucks so bad that you need top dasher status to dash when you want to. I can dash anytime without top dasher status because my market does not suck as much as yours does. 7800 deliveries and I average over 10 dollars a delivery. You keep taking those low ball offers at the end of the month and I will keep rejecting them. To get Top Dasher status, you also have to maintain a high acceptance rate, which means you'll have to accept orders that are unprofitable or not worth doing. Apparently in the East Bay area I became part of a program for their new Dasher app. There is no longer top Dasher there is only silver gold Platinum and you must be platinum to get the dash now button.
