The “wait to start” light comes on ever time during pre-start, but grid heaters never engage. It’s never worked since I bought the MH in 2013. I’ve used block heater to preheat engine prior to starting. Van Willams had this problem in 2015 and he checked all connections in engine room area which ended up resolving the problem..

The code is from the relay unplugged. The ECM is not seeing the relay. Try disconnecting the main power cable for the relay instead. The relay will still work. Just no longer supply power to the grid heater. I see no sensors for the grid heater circuit. See what you if any code you get after restoring the relay. Tom.L. The only other thing to try before buying the sensor is to put it in a heated garage over night (above 50deg.), and see if the ses light comes back on.
