I just did the challenge like 20 times and still didnt get the Triumph. Also tried leaving the portal with the sword also didnt work . I officially gave up on Chroniclor and Cursebreaker because of the amount of bullshit it takes for those eggs. You need to sword jump to them with the hive sword after you defeat the knights. It's a royal pain in the ass, but it can be accomplished. Like the last commentor stated, you need plenty of patience.
