You should avoid Tradovate and Ninja and find a good FCM to house your account. FCMs that specialize in retail are AMP, Ironbeam and Dorman. Give all three a ring and see which one is the best fit for you! Introducing brokers are basically middle men to the FCM and are really not necessary.

As I said I don't use Tradovate, but basic data in CQG data in Ninjatrader is $12 a month, and it provides the main CME instruments, among many others. Either way, you are paying for market data. I suppose similar to the way that Samsung or Apple make phones, but the don't work without a carrier connection, which have separate contracts and fees.
