I have shot the Hyperion on my SFAR, Virtus, and Thoroughbred Armament 14.5”. The SFAR gasses my face heavy, and I mean heavy, after just 2-5 rounds. The Virtus is noticeably gassy but not terrible. The 14.5” AR from Thoroughbred is awesome, little gas to the face but it is a little more “tuned” with a VLTOR system.The advantage the 20" has is a rifle gas system. 16" will do 1k with the right ammo and in the right conditions, but it is definitely at a disadvantage to the 20".
