The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2000 required the establishment on a Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee into develop and maintain a Uniform Formulary of medications—a list of brand names and generic medical and supplies the TRICARE covers—which provides dispensary aids in the outpatient setting.Copies of the Clinic’s formulary are available at the Pharmacy for patients and physicians’ offices. Physicians are able to write for up to a 90 day supply of medication with 3 refills at a time.
