Aye, firebomb wall skip is a glitch. Your arm, the bomb, and the bomb hitbox all has to no-clip through the wall and blow up the barrels on the other side. As for Rosabeth, you actually have to kill her to get enough souls to get through the Shrine of Winter. You go through the Shrine with ~1,001,600 souls and Rosabeth gives about 2k.
