202. Underquilt planning - choosing a material? After tackling a few DIY projects, I'm starting to think through a "properly" built underquilt. 67. I made an UQ from an old mummy sleeping bag. I cut it into a rectangle. It's about 44" wide (I looked online at several cottage maufacturers and this was about how side theirs were) and I cut it down to about 3/4 length. Channels on with shockcord on all 4 sides like Shug's Frankenquilt.
