By the sounds of it you're still early on in the game. Full caster classes in Pathfinder can be difficult to play early on due to the limited amount of spells you get. Until you hit around level 5 you should be thinking of yourself as a crossbow archer with access to some nifty magic everyday. I would say think about what you what theme you want. Lich is lots of undead, undead soldiers, undead companions, undead spells, etc etc. Aeon is Cosmic Judge, you get a Court, you make judgements and deal with things on more of a Cosmic scale.
